Meet Dr. Lacey Yates

Dr. Lacey Yates brings a warm, patient-centered approach to dentistry, guided by a deep commitment to family, service, and clinical excellence. She has been practicing as a general dentist for nearly a decade. Prior to earning her dental degree, she served patients as a dental hygienist beginning in 2010, giving her a strong foundation in preventive care and a comprehensive understanding of oral health.
Dr. Yates earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she served as Class Vice President and graduated with Distinction in Dental Education. Her clinical dedication and skill earned her Advanced Placement in Oral Surgery. In 2019, she was honored as Associate Dentist of the Year for the Desert Plains Region by Pacific Dental Services.
With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Dr. Yates incorporates behavioral insight and compassionate communication into her care. She has a special passion for treating patients with dental anxiety, dental trauma, and adults with special needs, helping them feel safe, understood, and empowered throughout their treatment. She believes wholeheartedly that “no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care,” and considers herself a healer — focusing not only on oral health, but on motivating patients to become happier and healthier overall.
Dr. Yates takes a whole-body approach to dentistry, carefully planning treatment with each patient’s unique needs, comfort level, and long-term wellness in mind. She is a member of the American Dental Association and is passionate about serving her community. She has volunteered with Give Kids A Smile, providing dental care to children in need.
Outside the office, Dr. Yates enjoys spending time with her husband and three children (ages 5–15). She loves attending music festivals and listening to EDM, traveling, and studying astrology and the occult. In her downtime, she enjoys watching Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Mindhunter, and The Mandalorian. Her favorite films include Inception, The Dark Knight, the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars sagas, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and films by Quentin Tarantino.
